  4. I'd always suggest that you include one, but note that they don't have any effect on crawling or indexing. If you've got a small site, a sitemap in plain text format (list of pages saved in notepad) will suffice.

Yes And How many keywords should you have or use, as i have got loads (does this matter) Doesn't really matter - I've seen some sites put up to 50 on there (no idea why). Back when I did use the keywords meta I used 10 at maximum. Google doesn't read the keywords meta tag any more, so it's less important.
