  1. I can't speak for this exact product, however Google is very personalised now so your view and the "normal" view aren't the same. A good way to check is download google chrome and view in incognito view make sure you're also logged out. This means Google isn't supposed to be looking at your cookies to see where you are, which sites you recommend etc all of which effect the results we see normally. Finally does the programme allow you to set the results it checks to the .co.uk version as obviously .com results will be different yet again. Hope this helps
  2. Hi just seen your post and you commented that the site wasn't in google until you listed it here. Basically Google finds site using two methods the first is for someone to use the submit a site method to google, a quicker and more efficient option is to get links to the site. For example adding link on forums, blogs or escpeically facebook and twitter. Google must crawl Facebook and twitter very often and new links are of great interest to it. Hope this helps to clarify why you site might not have been visable before you posted
  3. I use I.E. and currently the site appears the same in both i.e. and Firefox. The general appearance / first glance looks good. As has been mentioned few things could be changed. circular Logo and youtube/facebook logos are blury need to be clearer, try resizing in an art package to the desired size then add to site, rather than adding the larger image and resizing it . The red on black might just be the font, but didn't look too crisp. hope this give you somewhere to start.

  7. Hi, my name is Pippa, I am married with two children. I live in Worcester, UK although we are trying to relocate to Stafford. I design sites using both HTML/CSS and using a flash based site builder website and launched my own small business doing this at the end of last yr. I love reading through forums and have only just found this one, will try to be join in but sometimes tend to lurk unless I can think of something really useful to add to the conversation. look forward to chatting to you all soon.
  8. I'm in a similar situation. Because of the fact I'm still learning the basics I tell the clients up front and keep my prices low. Most of my clients only need SEO for their local area anyway. Rather than agreeing on an outcome, we discuss what I will do and how long it will take, therefore setting a time and price budget. I'm gradually moving more into packages, but when I work out the price I still try to gage how long it'll take me to do it vs a fee the sounds reasonable to new small businesses.
