Breadcrumbs
I was wondering how many of you think that breadcrumbs are a very important part of your website and should always be used?

Acceptable head image size
I wonder what people would consider to be the absolute maximum acceptable size for a website heading image? Some of my websites have fairly sizeable heading images which is why I tend to use sparingly, in fact I normally only publish the image on the homepage, or other pages have an image logo. My personal websites are all informational sites so my header image normally conveys what my websites are all about. I also tried to make them stand out a a little so they will hopefully catch peoples pension. Therefore I have never been really too worried about having a large head out on the homepage.

Do a search forThe following an Google Chrome and tell me which is the first website Accessible ponds Torbay Joystick steering for cars I would be interested to know if you get the same result as I am getting. I won't tell you what my website is, if you could just post it.we can then see if my theory is correct. Thanks

Biased Results on Google
I couldn't really think of a suitable title so I better explain exactly what I mean. I have got a Google account so I can access AdSense, analytics etc etc. I've come to realise search queries on Google when looking for your own websites can sometimes give you biased results. In other words, let's say you're searching for a particular article on your website to see how well it's doing, you are really happy the find yourself on the first page of Google. However, when other people search for the same page, they don't get the same results as you. I have now come to believe that when researching and testing websites that you have created, make sure that you don't search when you are signed into your Google account. I'm a dedicated Firefox user, however when I am testing I always use Google Chrome, the search results are dramatically different to what I find when I signed in using Firefox, in other words I believe it's giving me the true such findings which is obviously a lot more helpful.

Rankerizer
I recently downloaded a program called Rankerizer. However, I'm not convinced that it is that accurate. For instance, it's telling me that certain phrases are ranked at various positions on Google, however when I do a search or get somebody else to check for me, they get a completely different result altogether. By the way, this is using Google.co.uk, thought I would just make that clear. I just wondered how many people out there have use this program and what you make of it, does it give you accurate results?

Just introducing myself
Hi there, thought I would join up since we all seem to have the same interest and you never know, we could help each other, well I certainly need help sometimes :-) I certainly wouldn't claim to be a professional web designer, I basically do it as a hobby and have various websites that I look after as well for other people. Anyway, look forward to seeing you on the boards
