An annoying bit of whitespace
Hi, Take a look at the H1 tag inside the div#header, this has a margin which forces the div#header to expand, by simply putting overflow:hidden on the div#header you can see the white space disappear. Might be best to change the style on the H1 tag. Many Thanks Nathan

IE spacing issues
Just had a quick little look, the first thing I noticed is that html doesn't validate (http://validator.w3.org/) you can see the number of errors with things such as no closing div's and img's ect. In regards to the big gap at the top in IE 8 this will because you have set the height on the H1 tag which is overflowing your 'div#header' causing it to push the rest of the page down. Also if I was you I would float you 'ul.nav clearfix' to the right. If you sort these issues out you may find that it will fix, oh yeah and the footer specify the width to be 100% then it will centre. Hope this helps and i haven't wrote it too confusing. Many Thanks Nathan

Retrieval Query
Once you have connected to the database preform a simple SELECT as shown below: <? $sql = "SELECT BandName FROM Member"; $result = mysql_query($sql); //Loop through the results and create the select ?><select name="band_name"><? while($data = mysql_fetch_assoc($result)){ ?><option value="<?=$data['BandName'];?>"><?=$data['BandName'];?></option><? } ?></select><? ?> Then on the page that will recieve the post if(isset($_POST['band_name'])){ //This should be validated and checked to prevent SQL injections $sql = "SELECT BandName FROM Member WHERE BandName = '".$_POST['band_name']."'"; $result = mysql_query($sql); while($data = mysql_fetch_assoc($result)){ echo $data['MemberName']; } } This was very quickly wrote and very basic, but it should help you on your way. Hope your studying goes well Nathan Attain Design
