Just had a quick little look, the first thing I noticed is that html doesn't validate (http://validator.w3.org/) you can see the number of errors with things such as no closing div's and img's ect. In regards to the big gap at the top in IE 8 this will because you have set the height on the H1 tag which is overflowing your 'div#header' causing it to push the rest of the page down. Also if I was you I would float you 'ul.nav clearfix' to the right. If you sort these issues out you may find that it will fix, oh yeah and the footer specify the width to be 100% then it will centre. Hope this helps and i haven't wrote it too confusing. Many Thanks Nathan

Many Thanks Nathan Hey Nathan Thanks so much for getting back to me - your advice helped a lot! I had way too many padding-bottoms and padding-tops on all of the header sections.. by removing these and putting all the padding into #navigation, all the spacing was uniform across all browsers. So this leaves me now with two issues.. the smaller one concerns the overflow not being hidden on the horizontal image gallery on the home page in IE6.. The big issue though is that none of the image links are clickable in any version of IE.. the nav works fine, its just the two galleries that are playing up. i thought initially that it could be an issue with a .js file not being accepted by IE, but i dont think that is affecting anything. I've spent some time googling this issue, and think it could possibly have something to do with Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader, or with z-index values, but after playing around with both, the issue remains. Do you think you could shed some light on this issue? Thanks again! Steve
