So i am with BT Broadband for my internet, i am supposed to get 5mb, im barely scraping 2mb. I am about 2 miles from my nearest exchange which is a pain in the arse :/ I also have a lot of wires trailing around the house, could this be the problem? ... I have a long wire going from the phone line downstairs connecting to the phone upstairs, then a wire going from that to my modem in my bedroom. Could anyone recommend some other providers that could be better?

I've got W7 Pro on my laptop, runs fine, looks good. Best OS from Microsoft to date!

That is true Aaron. Considering that i am an apprentice i still have time to learn this part of coding ... however, my superior just doesn't seem to have the time to take me through it. Even an hour a week will be better than nothing

Aaron, PHP is a pain in the backside, my boss once gave me a quick run through of PHP when he was creating a database for an archive storage company. It is extremely complex! DON'T DO IT
