  2. Hello guys, I'm looking for some feedback regarding my skills as a designer. Please rate it from 1-5(5 being the best) and let me know what do you think i need to improve on. Portfolio links: http://www.behance.net/a-max http://www.coroflot.com/awd Thank you, AWD EDIT:Please rate my Portfolio Designs from the above links not the way the pages are grouped/layered since those are just temporary online portfolios...hope it clears things up
  3. Well here's a fast review: 1.colors don't match-read about color theory 2.menu too big 3.the right corner box is too big 4.the gradient background is definitely a NO NO 5.logo and site name fade into the background because of the colors used
  4. Well it loaded slow on my browser and I think the text is too big, overall it's okay.
  5. Well overall it looks good i will rate if 7/10 because of the amount of text that's present on the left side, try making it a little smaller.
  6. Well it looks good, but on my browser they look too big don't know if they look this big on the Iphone since my Iphone isn't near me at the moment i can't check for sure but overall it looks good, congrats!
  7. Quite nice design the only issue is the amount of text you've added in the content section,it ain't to well organized thus the user can't decipher what info has the most importance, try reading a little bit about typography and you will surely understand.
  8. Tottaly agree, the font in the main content area is to skinny thus blending into the background, also the background is from another color category then the header color.
  9. Top one definitely!
  10.    awd reacted to a post in a topic: Which Design?
  11. Well the issue here is clearly the colors, try changing them since the user can't read anything because the colors blend into the background, try focusing on using dark colors on white backgrounds and lighter colors on dark backgrounds!
  12. Well it looks good but you're using too much text thus giving it a newspaper feeling.Keep in mind that a client doesn't want to read 50 rows of text about your services when the same amount of info can be achieved in 5 rows so try reviewing & downsize your text length.
  13. Well here's a fast review: -try changing the font color to something like white -make the navigation buttons a lot smaller -use a wider font instead of the skinny one -try adding a background behind the design, keep the existing background texture just add another background to the part where the textured background is all lighten up Hope it helps!
  14. I think you need to make the content area wider, because it looks to thin also try not to add images with a white background because it disrupts the harmony of the colors you've used.
  15. Well it has a very template look to me,don't know why. The major issue i can see here is the fact that you've got too many boxes with too much text thus the user is overwhelmed by all the info you provide thus backfiring at you by the fact that user quickly closes the website page because of the numerous text. Also the Info isn't well structured, what I mean is I can't decipher what the most important info is,try reading about typography it will help you a lot in understanding how to improve your "marketing" skills.
  16. It looks pretty Okay ,keep up the good work!
