Hi i'm a pretty experienced front end developer with excellent sass, less, css, javascript, jquery, html, grunt etc. Now when i want to achieve some interaction that can't be done in plain html, css i turn to jquery/javascript for user triggered events and ajax and this has served me well and still feels like the standard for web development. However i feel i need to learn a Javascript framework but i'm not sure what type of projects i would pick angular 2 over Jquery. Can i use it to build websites or is it just for apps? i was thinking of doing a portfolio site using angular but this seems over kill. Can someone shed some light on this with some examples

Hi i'm 29 year old developer. i was made redundant around 2 1/2 years ago when the economy was pretty bad and hardly anyone was hiring in any field. luckily i managed to get a job by moving to reading from the midlands. i was on £23,500 before being made redundant and the new job only offeered £23,000, but because of economic diffuculties and the fact that they were going to give me exposure to asp.net c#, umbraco cms and work with some interesting designs and concepts i took the oppoutunity. i recently went for an interview to see what i could get salary wise and was offered £30,000 but that was in london so living cost would be a bit more. i feel i'm worth at least £26,000 here are my skill set hand coding XHTML, HTML & CSS - 4 years JavaScript & Jquery - 3 years Asp.Net and C# - 2.0+ - 2 years (developed in current job) Visual Studio 2005 +- 2 years (developed in current job) SQL Management 2005 - 2 years (developed in current job) Telerik Radcontrols - 2 years (developed in current job) Umbraco CMS - 2 years (developed in current job) email template creation -3 years here is a letter i have started any advise? "I've been here almost two years and would like a considerable pay rise relative to my development within my role. I am commited to this company and have shown determination in my working day by coming in early and working over. i have made the email marketing my own area of specilism but have also gained further knowledge in asp.net, c#, telerik controls and umbraco. looking at the current job market i feel that i am not being financally rewarded for the skills i have developed" just don't know how to word it .

i will take a look at murach why c#? because thats what they are using at the company i have started work for, i understand that vb is a little easier to get to grips with but there always seems to be more jobs for c# and better paid

i think you have the html wrong move the middle up and use float left or you could just use _margin-top:-320px on the middle bit. a hack i know but it works

if i have a design thats uses Helvetica Neue roman or Helvetica Neue in general how would you place this in the css would you use Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, arial? the design uses it for some body text and links wats the best way of doing it? i have attache a jpg
