  1. SEO value is measured in many ways. It shouldn't increase it in my view.
  2. Google are saying Keyword Stuffing and placing links with no relevance to your content of website. Penguin 3 was released yesterday. I have not noticed anything. Which is good as my site doesn't fall into this. But back linking now I am very cautious and also any guest bloggers I am venting more. Has anyone else noticed that searching now is worse before Panda and Penguin. I.e getting old websites and old content positioned in the top spaces?
  3. Hi I am struggling to get a double drop down selection list to work. I have a MySQL table called main. In drop down 1 I want to show A - Z in the MySQL table called ServiceStandards a company will have a list of services i.e A,B,C,D,F,Z etc.. When you select say D on the drop down 1 this should then filter the data showing the companies in Drop down 2. When you select the company in Drop Down 2 I want to echo the Address details. This is the part I can not get to work. Can anyone assist as this has really stumped me. Example Drop Down 1 Drop Down 2 A Company 1 B Company 2 <--- Select C D <--- Select D Echo Company 2, London, SW1 etc... <?php include("includes/connect.php"); $name = $_POST['name']; $model = $_POST['model']; if ($name);{ $sql="SELECT id, COMPANY, TOWN, COUNTY, ServiceStandards, Active FROM main WHERE Active='Y' AND ServiceStandards LIKE '%" .$name. "%'"; $result1=mysql_query($sql); $numrows=mysql_num_rows($result1); echo "<p>" .$numrows . " results found for " . stripslashes($name) . "</p>"; } ?> <form id="form1" name="form1" method="post" action="dropdown.php" > <select name="name" onChange="document.forms[0].submit()"> <option value="">Select Cat</option> <option value="A" <?php if(!(strcmp(A, $name))){echo "selected";}?>>A</option> <option value="B" <?php if(!(strcmp(B, $name))){echo "selected";}?>>B</option> <option value="C" <?php if(!(strcmp(C, $name))){echo "selected";}?>>C</option> <option value="D" <?php if(!(strcmp(D, $name))){echo "selected";}?>>D</option> <option value="E" <?php if(!(strcmp(E, $name))){echo "selected";}?>>E</option> <option value="F" <?php if(!(strcmp(F, $name))){echo "selected";}?>>F</option> <option value="M" <?php if(!(strcmp(M, $name))){echo "selected";}?>>M</option> <option value="Y" <?php if(!(strcmp(Y, $name))){echo "selected";}?>>Y</option> </select> <select name="model"onChange="document.forms[1].submit()"> <option value="">Select a Company</option> <?php while($numrow=mysql_fetch_array($result1)){ $Company =$numrow['COMPANY']; $Service =$numrow['ServiceStandards']; $Town =$numrow['TOWN']; echo "<option value=".$Company.">" .$Company."</option>\n"; } echo '</select>'; echo ' </form>'; echo $Company; echo $Town; ?> </body> </html>
