Maxson reacted to Wickham in Prime symbol inside meta contentElement type "meta" must be followed by either attribute specifications, ">" or "/>"
means that if you have used a HTML doctype, close the meta tag with >
and if you have used a XHTML doctype, close the meta tag with />
If you have problems with any characters in the text inside the meta description, then try to use the code equivalent from here

One method is to fix a container and then center a div inside it:-
#wrap { position: fixed; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; } #inner { width: 700px; margin: 0 auto; }
<div id="wrap"> <div id="inner">Inner div content</div> </div>
or the reverse:-
#wrap { width: 700px; margin: 0 auto; } #inner { position: fixed; top: 0; width: 700px; }
In the last case the position: fixed div must be the same width as the wrap div and only needs to be fixed to the top (so that it can move sideways as the wrap div centers in different resolutions).

Maxson reacted to Torrix in HTML Editor - my first one - which one?I guess your talking about WYSIWYG editor then? When you say your learning HTML are you talking about CSS as well etc and how far are you in “learning” these?
Personally I tried to use a text editor (notepad++ in my case) to learn the above and added the graphics into the code (and I still am), that way I knew/know what the code etc was doing for me and not what the program is telling the code to do. If you get my drift?
I used DW properly for the first time today had it ages but every time I used it I didn’t like the WYSIWYG get bit for some reason. But today it helped as I understood the code and was able to manipulate it to how I needed/wanted it!
In your learning etc where are you? This may help to see how to go around getting better?
Hope the above makes sense lol

Maxson reacted to Dee in How do you call a person...could be a combination of things...you can be the designer, the webmaster, and an entrepreneur all rolled in one. More than anything, though, you might want to diversify with the title by sticking with "entrepreneur"...kind of gives you some wiggle room ...

Maxson reacted to dmpinder in Font propertyI think what you're looking for is:
cursor:default;
Place this in your CSS where you want the cursor to remain the default pointer.
