At first John took a look at it and discovered that transparent Gifs make the background go wacky, so I got rid of those. And that fixed it for a bit. But now my background still goes out. What could be the problem?

that's so strange. i haven't had that problem before. What do you think could be causing that? Anyone else have any ideas on this background problem?

Last thing that was loading in the status bar before it went smush was googlesyndication.
