Afternoon All,

Just wondering, do any of you use a standerd set of questions to find out what a customer wants from there web site?

  • 2 weeks later...

Depending on the client and how they are contacting me i sometimes send out a form for them to fill out. I generally do that if i have no way of contacting the client other than email. I have a list of questions that i keep in mind when i am talking to other clients as well. I keep a list of questions around the office so i don't forget anything. Clients hate it when you forget something.

Nope, not standard because each client has a different request or requirement. Ask questions based on the project description. Some standard questions can be useful.

I have a basic brief.doc - one for logo and branding, one for packaging design, one for web design and development
