I think you will need some of the other members to comment on your code...there are people here far better qualified than me to help you with that.

 

Visually I think you have a heavy header which feeds into a borderless main section and because of that that it appears to "fizzle out". This feel is then further increased by centering the text which I am not a great fan of.

 

Maybe you could reposition your contact details and links to balance out the header.

 

I find your philosophy a bit difficult to grasp. I had to read the rest of the page to understand what you are offering.

You also need to correct "tobring" in the text and page title

Maybe something more simple...

I'm going be straight to the point, I don't like it why?

 

- your design doesn't look professional at all, not a design that suits a business website,

- you centered you main content? Come on you must have some experience?

- heck your spelling/grammar. potential customers are most likely to leave when they find that you did not spend enough time on your spelling/grammar.

- why so much bold text? It's not cool.

- please add border="0" to your images inside a <a></a> tag.

- your using way to many different colors. black white dark blue blue red. pick 2 or 3 colors MAX. and work with those.

 

sorry for all the criticism it ain't even everything, but it's a head start for you.

Ok lets start from the top:

 

Cut the header down a bit.

 

Sorri but the navi is aweful. It needs some work. The text doesn't even match the site text.

 

The page needs a border. or something to stop it falling apart.

 

I think you need to have a fine comb through the coding. although it maybe valid, i can spot a few mistakes just looking at the page.

I'll let u find them more challenging then.

 

The footer text needs centering in the footer.

Agree with all of the above... plus, is there a reason you're using asterisks and periods instead of unordered list tags?

 

Visually though I think my #1 annoyance are the font(s), as someone mentioned earlier. Everything's centred, they're too big, and you're using Times for navigation and Arial on the rest of the site. And you might consider hiring someone to copyedit everything... like me.

There are some fair points above, perhaps a little harsh, I think you need some kind of containment as the content is floating in the middle with no border or colour separation, perhaps some buttons aswell which highlight your key selling points would be beneficial.

thank you all for the comments all be it a little harsh in places but I agree with most of the comments it does show how if you don't take the time to check what your doing within the site it can get away from you.

 

This is why I posted it here cause I know I'd get an honest answer and feed back so I thank you all now back to the drawing board to fix all these strange little errors all over the page.

That's really positive Andrew, you know us, we are not a nasty bunch of people, we are honest and hopefully give constructive criticism. Looking forward to seeing the changes.

Good honest criticism is much more useful than gratuitous flattery. For my 2-pence worth:

 

- Read up on typography - mixing fonts makes a site look unprofessional. More importantly, the font sizes you use will direct your customers eye around the page - bigger font equals more eye time.

- Review your code / css - there is a border around your XHTML anchor at the bottom. One of the images is squeezed - edit it in photoshop so it looks neater.

- Get that hotrrible stock graphic off the form page!!

 

It could look professional if you spend a bit more time on it.
