HI guys, my 3rd project there on forum. I made myself a webdesign company page, of which many people around me says it looks pretty dull, or bad looking.. :/ So I would like to know your opinions in that cause. Thanks a lot. (web is empty and in Czech language, english will be implemented lately)

try inverting your current colour selection, white bg, black text, light, almost invisible grey content bg etc. Would blend more with the header aswell.

I like the background that's ok, but the brushing in the banner graphic looks a bit rusty and simple. Looks like it has been made quickly and not much attention paid to it.

 

I'd also suggest that you fix the navigation as the main page link is stuck right at the side with no padding or margin.

 

But good job so far.

Only thing that needs work is the navigation, except for that I think it is alright.

The page doesn't validate.

 

Also you state its valid strict but its using a transitional doctype, so you might want to change that.

Nice looking site you have there.

 

Only real comment is to work on the navigation you have, on rolling over the text the buttons become very animated and not in a particularly good way either. try giving them more room and maybe setting the margins and padding to have more with height and width. Also try moving the menu in a little from the left.

 

Apart from that not a bad job.

I like the design in truth but then again, I like "boring" black on my sites
