  1. Cheers for the latest couple of posts.... With regards to the CSS validation that is due to the thickbox css I use for popups, may have to look around for something different to use or even make something else myself. I agree the Web 2.0 relefections and grads may not last, but neither do my site designs, I switch and change them atleat once a year. Always looking to improve and keep up with the times, plus I get bored of it sometimes. Rather than filling the site with everything under the sun, I opted to keep a limited amount of content on the page at anyone time and with a simple navigation I feel you are never too far way from what you may want to look for. I thought it looks simple, clean and uncluttered. I keep having a play with my logo too and will take your points on board sunwuking. Cheers for the posts, keep em coming.
  2. Anyone have any more opinions on how I can improve it.
  3. Colour is simple a matter of personal preference. I might like one thing and you may hate it.... Just go with what feels right. For me a couple of colours is best, a backing colour, text colour and a nice hightlight colour. then once you have them three you can get a pallete based on these. IF you already have a logo, try and use colours that compliment it. As Dizi has just mentioned Kuler.adobe.com is great place to start. Hope this is of help.
  4. Nice looking site you have there. Only real comment is to work on the navigation you have, on rolling over the text the buttons become very animated and not in a particularly good way either. try giving them more room and maybe setting the margins and padding to have more with height and width. Also try moving the menu in a little from the left. Apart from that not a bad job. Well done.
  5. Thank you ErisDs and MD, Your comments have been taken on board and I will take a look into improving the site and it's content. I totally agree with needing more information on the about page and also more details about the tech I use to make my sites. Really appreciate your comments. Keep them coming. The more the better.
  6. Any more please would be appreciated.
  7. Thanks for the update barrel. Yeah I have noticed that as well today, think I have an IE issue.... Will endeavour to fix it. Thanks with regard to the baby, it's to be our first all being well and things go ok. Hmmm, what colours might you rcommend..... I do like the brightness of them myself but am open to ideas. Regards Tim
