October 4, 20196 yr Hi, I’m quite new to creating websites so would like to seek help from experts here. I created this site using Elementor basic version and the menu when opened on mobile phones is transparent and shows the page behind as shown in the attached pic. It makes the whole thing looks weird. How do I make the menu opaque so people can only see the menu when opened? Or anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!
October 4, 20196 yr 1. Don't use elementor 2. The menu is a theme function not part of elementor. To fix the transparency you need to find the CSS styles for the menu background. Post a link to the site and we can help with this. That being said, if this is how the site looks on a phone you have a lot more work to do that just fixing the menu.
October 4, 20196 yr 1. Use Elementor... 2. There are a Elementor plugins for responsive menus. or off canvas menu. try those. 3. Change the background of the menu. or check the z-index of the menu. z-index should be the highest.
October 4, 20196 yr No, really don’t use elementor. In fact avoid Wordpress page builders in general. All they do is clog up your site and create layouts that just don’t work well on smaller screens. They may be responsive but they aren’t mobile first. And that’s what Google likes.
