Hi all.

http://tinyurl.com/5oogzr this is a blog that I'm starting up. I had some trouble with the initial setup but it's up finally. Not ready for launch yet though.

When I post, the articles go to their prospective catagories and post but nothing comes up on the index page. this has never happened to me before. I had to reinstall the db once but i just deleted it and started over. What are your suggestions. Thanks guys! 8)

Hi Seth, is it something simple like not setting the index to show recent posts?

If you haven't created any pages and the index is set to show a 'home' page, that could be your problem. :unknw:

honestly i have no idea.

that's why i'm asking because i don't want to go through another install again! how do you do what you were saying about pointing in right direction of the recent posts

In the control panel, click on settings, then Reading.

The first option is 'Front Page Displays'.

Make sure that 'Your Latest Posts' is checked.

It probably isn't the answer to your problem but you might as well try the simple things first. :)
