I came across this article and thought I'd share. His advice is really good and I've been doing the same myself to great effect, although I'm nowhere near a £100k salary and I've been working in the industry for 4 years but I can attest to the fact that this strategy works having increased my own salary 3 fold during that time frame.

He also talks a lot about being frugal and investing / saving your income in line for early retirement which is also a goal of mine - again really good advice for those that are interested...

Yes there's no rocket science in what he's saying, it's really down to determination - I've seen a fair few folks push themselves over the years rising from "shop floor" jobs to senior management roles in relatively short time periods.

 

Being frugal early on is good advice, it's all to easy to blow it on expensive food, new cars and consumer goods - don't buy a £15 Dominos pizza, buy a £2.50 one from Tesco and bank the £12.50!
