My company has relaunched their website.

they have spent quite a bit of money on it and i was wondering what you guys thought about it. all feedback greatly received!

the layout is nice and clean. I guess users won't get confused as if they are in my site . To me, adding the fishcam thing in a corporate site is a bit oddward, but if that is one of your product then it is certainly another case. I just want to ask "quite a lot of money" is like how much......I know it is none of my business but...ya...

Agreed.

 

One thing I was a bit skeptical about is having a similar flash animation on 4 or 5 of the other pages. Generally they only show it once, but that's just my opinion.

The website looks proffesional, coulple if thing i'd change though

 

The flash banner is pretty impressive (poor fishy ), but takes away from what is actually important

The subheader text looks dwarfed next to that oversized banner.

 

the banner is also increabibly colorfull and all the rest of the website is gray, makes it hard to focus on anything but the banner.

 

All the text is the same font size, nothing stands out. It's just text that doesn't grab my attention. Increased fontsize might be an idea for headers. Just making it bold isnt enough to grab my attention.

 

Well that's my thoughts

I was impressed when the flash started playing. I like that design a lot. The animation looks like it has been optimised for a low filesize a bit too much, it looks pixelated and low quality in places. I think I'd like to wait a few seconds longer for that animation to load and see it in higher quality.

 

That animation looks good on the homepage: I am not sure I want to see such eye catching graphics it at the top of most pages though. When I start to explore the sites content I want to be able to concentrate
