Website Menu

Featured Replies

Hi.

I am currently redesigning my website and so far all is going well, but I can't get my head around changing the menu. I've temporarily uploaded the website files to: https://daniel-chaplin.co.uk/beta/

When you go onto the website, you'll see the menu is a mobile one and drops down. (http://i.imgur.com/w6TJOc8.png). What I would like it to do is 100% width of the page, height stays the same and so it scrolls with the page with the current menu items centred on the menu, just like this: http://i.imgur.com/75OULGs.png

If anyone can help, I would very much appreciate it.

Something like this parhaps: http://onepage.aerin.co.uk/

PS: It's not a good idea to use the hamburger for everything. And even on small screens it's better to add the word 'menu' and even a border - the UX improves a lot. And ass you only have a few links you can probably get away with an 'always on' menu.

It's only like that because I don't have the full width option enabled.

That's just need a tweak to the CSS. I'll post the code later when I get home

Many thanks for your comment and help. You're right, even when it comes to smaller screens having an "always-on" menu will look better instead of an icon. It's a basic website so should work, I look forward to tweaking the code you have.
