    Use media queries:
If you are styling using mobile first do like this:
    .animate-rounded { background-color: #86BF57; height: 100%; width: 100%; border-radius: 10px; border: 0px; } @media screen and (min-width: 720px) { .animate-rounded { background: linear-gradient(253deg, #43cea2, #185a9d); background-size: 300% 300%; -webkit-animation: Background 10s ease infinite; -moz-animation: Background 10s ease infinite; animation: Background 10s ease infinite; } } For desktop fist styling do this:
    .animate-rounded { background: linear-gradient(253deg, #43cea2, #185a9d); background-size: 300% 300%; height: 100%; width: 100%; border-radius: 10px; border: 0px; -webkit-animation: Background 10s ease infinite; -moz-animation: Background 10s ease infinite; animation: Background 10s ease infinite; } @media screen and (max-width: 720px) { .animate-rounded { background: #86BF57; -webkit-animation: none; -moz-animation: none; animation: none; } } Other than that fisicx is right. Colour shifthing animations will most likely just annoy your users
