i would much prefer it with a white background and black text (for the main area) instead of the background being visible over the whole page.

 

Thats just my preference though.

kill the absolute positioning, its not compatible with the vast majority of all screen resolutions

There's details within your CV that I would not disclose publically. Your CV shows your race, exact date of birth and national insurance number which I don't think is wise.

To be honest, I thought your first one was better. But that is personal opinion.

To be honest with you, this website design is not that attractive.........

I dont think that menu fits - it looks really out of place. Also, lose the times new roman font. Please.
