Position responsive wordpress widget on image

Featured Replies

Hi,

I want to position a text widget on the noticeboard on the image at this URL: http://newsite.arkholme.lancs.sch.uk.

It needs to be responsive.

Or is there a better way to do this other than a widget?

I know the illustration is a stupid design for a homepage but please don't bother mentioning that because I'm afraid that's just the way it is :)

Thanks so much for your help!

Essentially they would like to have a little bit of text on the noticeboard that they can change easily within the Wordpress CMS. Widget may not be the best way to do this...?

The homepage isn't responsive so why this requirement?

You can't use a widget as the homepage isn't part of the WP site.

Tell them they can't have it unless they are going to pay for all the development work to query the WP database and somehow layer the text onto the image. But even then it's just going to be almost impossible to make it responsive.

Your homepage is not responsive and the requirements given that are not possible as per my view. Because the I think it is static part of website. So It seems impossible to integrate only that part with Wp and make it dynamic content.
