If you had to spend £100 (give or take) only on your PC activities​, what would you buy or pay for?

A game, an app, software subscription, a new mouse, better SEO, plugins, code, someone's help, etc..?

 

(I'm just curious. As I've gotten older, my values have changed. I would have said game a few years ago, if not hardware. Now at my age, I need to be more sensible, and hopefully feel productive with the choices I make.)

I'm 17, and I would probably get a game. I have a YouTube channel, so a video game would be a whole lot more resourceful.

If you have a gaming channel, then yes, definitely worth getting a game, too.

Learning resources. I spend roughly £100pm on my subscriptions to Egghead etc. They've been a very good investment over the past few years.
I've not bought a game in over 3 years, I just don't have the time for them.

Thanks man, I started it when I was around 7 years old. I change my age on most social media site because of age restrictions, and a lot of people like to age discriminate/underestimate because of age. People tend to put age, and knowledge in the same category.

Yes, that's a good idea / investment. I've subscribed to Lynda.com quite a few times over the years. Even as a hobbyist, it has felt worth it.

As for gaming, I haven't gamed for about a year, I think.

I was just watching last night on YouTube about some very young people being very good and successful with making apps, etc.

Kind of makes me feel like a loser in some fields, but if you like something, definitely go for it and do the best you can or want, if the passion is there.

It's true, with the technology we have today. I was watching my cousins, and kids born in the past 5 or 6 years. The things they can do by time they are even crawling is astonishing. I watch them do more on iPads than a 65 year old grandma can do.
