March 29, 201610 yr Greetings to all, This morning, at the next revision of the file in CorelDraw X6 window suddenly appeared: "The file is corrupted." I tried to reinstall the application and re-open the file, the same thing. Maybe someone knows how to solve this problem?
March 29, 201610 yr Check if u have backups...they should be in the same directory of the file..... Try to import (may not work) in InkScape...
April 8, 201610 yr Short guide from Autodesk or other variants might be see and learn below http://www.ehow.com/how_12094277_recover-corel-draw-files.html http://community.coreldraw.com/talk/coreldraw_graphics_suite_x6/f/704/t/43936 https://www.openfiletool.com/cdropen.html CDR Open File Tool – solution for hopelessly crashed .cdr images, uses in case nothing works and helps Try the following: - rename the file to ".zip " - open the zip-file with Winzip or WinRar (these programs has a repair-function for zip) - try to repair the file - then extract the riffdata.cdr from content-folder of zip-file and open this file in CorelDRAW These steps work for me.
April 18, 201610 yr Try to follow these instructions to recover your file . Go to the Start Menu in windows and click Run and type %TEMP% in Run menu. There you will find the file with a name like @@@CDR.TMP. Rename this file to .CDR at the end. Save this file to somewhere in different location. Open this file in CorelDraw.
April 18, 201610 yr All the above, but really everybody who ever worked on those sorts of programs has learned the hard way that you auto-save, you manual save and you save with a new filename at least as often as the most amount of work you are prepared to lose. And I don't mean to be smug or condescending or wise after the fact, I have lost work before and doubtless I will lose some again. Some people on CAD work used to backup to another disk as well and I even heard of people keeping the disks somewhere else in a fireproof box.
