I have set up a forum for a client, but now need to set the permissions. The forum I have used is phpbb (Version 3 I think) I looked into setting the permissions, but it was very difficult to understand. Has anyone else used this forum who can help me.

 

I want to set it so that -

 

Guests can view and that is all.

Members can view, post and message etc.

Mods can edit and remove posts.

Admin rules all.

go to the admin control panel, click on manage groups from there you can manage admins/mods/members and the like

 

To set a mod/admin click on the members link in that section and from there you can add a mod/admin
