I just wondered what your thoughts are so far? Please remember this is a work in progress and there are still broken links to pages that haven't been made yet.

 

Also I know the bottom image looks pixelated, that is because I have not purchased the vector yet. I wanted to see how it looked first.

 

The website has not been looked at by anyone but myself so far and I would really like your opinions.

I personally think it looks OK. Perhaps have the buttons on the right turn to a deeper shade of blue on the mouseover would be good.

 

And you probably won't want to have your email in plain text like that due to spam.

I think this is very nice. Nice simple layout with enough graphical elements to hold interest, and nice balanced composition, too. Well done.

I wonder if the header could be tied in more to the rest of the design? It's the only bit that sticks out for me.

Thanks for that, I haven't really got round to proper testing yet and I will definitely sort that out. I agree with your comment about the header, I think it could be better.

I think it is designed well. The concept however, does not go. It just doesn't feel like a business consultant's website.

I actually really like it. Again very simple, clear and concise. I can say I can understand Shaun's point to an extent, about it 'not seeming like a business consultant's website'. As to me, it looks rather like the personal site of a freelancer. However, since the website is still designed for an individual at the end of the day, I don't think it's too much of a problem as the site still comes accross as being owned by an individual. If that makes any sense? o.O

Thats the problem with old browsers. New browsers with the zoom function is a lot better.
