Further to my other question, do you know anywhere i can do a fastish training course on web design? , but it would need to be mac based training as i have a mac.

Why would it have to be Mac? the web isn't limited by the operating system. You just need to learn HTML and CSS.

How fast is fast? the web is constantly evolving with new techniques, ideas and technology happening all the time. Like jamest said you need to start with the basics which you can learn yourself.
