July 12, 201511 yr How can I get the text to be fully white on my button rollovers, thanks: http://www.timothy-clark.com/work.php
July 13, 201511 yr Change .content1:hover opacity to 1 rather then 0.3 and set the background color to rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3); This will only set the background to semi-transparent but not the contents
July 17, 201511 yr Author I still have a problem though. The darkened rollover effect is not consistent on each page. On the main work page they were fine, but now, for some reason, there's a gap at the bottom. And on other pages like this one, they only work at the top of the button. http://www.timothy-clark.com/artist/ Can anyone help resolve this please?
July 20, 201511 yr Add position: relative;to your .container class (make sure this does not conflict with anything else) Then remove the height and with attributes to your .content1 class and add position: absolute; top: 0; bottom: 0; left: 0; right: 0; Edited July 20, 201511 yr by D4Y0
July 29, 201511 yr Author When you hover over the buttons, the text goes from being normal weight to bold. How do I keep it normal weight? Is there some sort of glitch? http://www.timothy-clark.com/work.php Cheers!
July 30, 201511 yr In your file main.css, on line 511, you have the styles for the h2 element, where the font-weight is set to 700. You need to change that - either take it out, set it to 'normal', or something. Assuming you are talking about the text which appears when you hover over the images and not something else.
July 30, 201511 yr Author Well, you'd think that would do it but unfortunately it hasn't had any effect. I think it might be some sort of glitch. Isn't there some sort of css antialiasing thing that might do the trick?
August 1, 201511 yr Author In my menu.php file, I've got this code: <h13> <a href="http://www.timothy-clark.com">timothy clark</a> </h13> But the "TIMOTHY CLARK" title link at the top left of the screen doesn't function as a link. Any help please? ps. I know you're only supposed to have up to h6, but I'll resolve that later on. Edited August 1, 201511 yr by Timothy Clark
August 1, 201511 yr There is a div in your code directly underneath the 'h13' containing-div which is positioned in such a way that it overlays the link so you can't click it. The simplest solution would probably be to apply a higher z-index to your link's containing div.
August 1, 201511 yr Author On my slide-out navigation on the work page, I'm trying to get each link to have a specific colour background fade in and out on rollover, just like the main image buttons. I can't even get this to do anything: .menufolio a.li:hover { background: #ef0403; } It just stays the same colour when you hover over. Can anyone help pls?
August 2, 201511 yr Author I've now used the same method as my image buttons, but I want the text ("work", "the artist" etc.) to be visible initially and then to fade from black to white as the background changes colour.
