Hey all.

 

God there really isn't much of anything interesting to tell you about myself at the moment. I'm 24, in my final few weeks of Interactive Multimedia Design at the University of Ulster in Jordanstown and am stressed out.

 

Been breaking my back over a few different pieces of coursework these last few weeks but hey... it has to be done. I just never realised how much design would be involved in this course and design was never my strong point. I am a born coder. Give me some good old PHP, actionscript, MySQL, JavaScript or AJAX any day.

 

I fly model planes and helicopters and play guitar. WOOO!

 

Tools of choice:

dreamweaver

notepad

flash

illustrator

photoshop

3DSMAX

 

AND JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMLA!!!!

Hope your uni course finished alright - stressed is good.. it's when your not stressed that your work isn't as good!

Well that's fantastic! It's always great to have coders with us and you seem exceptionally passionate about it!

 

How cool, to fly planes and helicopters! I always wanted one as a kid and had a little fantasy about attaching waterballoons and bangers to it and randomly drop them next to crowds of people!

 

Is your personal portfolio site linking in with your multimedia degree? As it has elements of flash etc involved, I liked your header with the boxes sliding in! Nice effect!

Yeah it's tied in with my course as part of my major design project. I'm hopefully going to expand on this site though and maybe use it as my personal portfolio site once I get graduated. My design skills are really bad though so I'm hoping to display my technical skills as much as possible.

 

Me = Programming + 3D....

 

Maybe I should have studied computer games design?

 

You should definitely buy a little plane or helicopter if time and money allows!! They're becoming so much more accessible now than a few years ago. It was always the cost that scared me away up until now but prices drop with time like they are now. You could pick up a little Ready To Fly (RTF) Helicopter for about £70 - £100 or a little plane for about £100. Nothing better for settling a fried brain like flying for half an hour!

I race RC cars, and used to play guitar, what a coincidence

Check out the hydrofoam flying boats on youtube and ebay.. You can skim across the ground, on top of the water or soar up into the air!! AWESOME.... 3-in-1 FUN!

 

They are AMAZING!!!!
