August 27, 201411 yr Hi, It would be great to get some feedback on my new Responsive Website. Many thanks URL: www.dcpweb.co.uk Edited August 27, 201411 yr by dcpweb
August 27, 201411 yr A couple of things struck me: I feel the length of your lines of text is a bit long for comfortable reading You have quite a few typos. e.g. "At DCP with have design over 100 company logos" so you might want to do some proof reading.
September 18, 201411 yr A few things really stick out to me. - You have 4 sliders on the home page. This is content overload for the user. You need to cut back on your information. Consolidate it by a lot. - One of those sliders (the main one), says there are two slides, but there is really only one. - Why are you slamming your visitors with social media on the side right away. This is not a good place for it. - The first serious place for text is way to long to read. Break it into two columns. - The arrows for sections are really pointless. They serve no purpose for the visitor. - The animation on the services circles is annoying and not needed. Don't put in animation just for animation sake. - Take the clients out of the slider. Just put them in a grid. - I would put your testimonials in a dual column, and much smaller. Little overkill on the text size. - The section with the tutorials, articles, ect does NOT belong on a home page. Makes me think your are trying to farm SEO keywords. The home page is for information for the visitor, aka potential clients. They do not care about this kinda stuff. You should focus on these things, and these things only: Who you are, what you can do for them, and how to start the process. Anything past that, and it's just information they don't need. - Why is the "Web Designers London" section at the bottom have a fixed height. It's like you want to push people away. I can tell you this right now, no one is going to read that. Take it out. The design is 'ok', but you have waaaaaay too much information. Slim it down by at least 75%.
September 30, 201411 yr line length too long as mentioned. you're using (?) a faux italic on the testimonials (also too long in line length) use the proper open sans light italic for it. (or then times italic if you're worried about font filesize) Edited September 30, 201411 yr by davep
