Please feedback on my new company website

Hi guys

If you have a moment, could you have a look at my updated company website at let me know what you like and what you think might be improved.

My Website is here

Many thanks

Really?

Why do you redirect to your cgi-bin?

You've got more different styles there than a bad episode of "What not to wear"

"Copyright © 2007"

At least it (almost) validates.

It's seems a bit cramped and busy. Could do with a little padding around everything. Also a little too much stock photography for my liking. You could make it a bit more personal with a bit of your work on the home page.

Other than that not bad. And not a table in sight!

Really?

Erm! I think so, though I'm not sure what you are asking?

The site sits on a CMS written in perl. Hence it runs from the cgi-bin.

Thanks, a copy and paste error there. Sorted now though (using the cms, it was darn quick and no republish!)

Your right, have fixed it (and some other things) and will show in the next publish. It will then validate properly according to w3 standards.

You could make it a bit more personal with a bit of your work on the home page.

Your right, will look into adding that.

Thanks again for the comments

Couple of things i noticed,

- Buttons are VERY glossy glas like. Try toning down this effect it's way to extreme at the moment. THey are also a bit large atm.

- you don't really have a color scheme. Blue background / buttons, ad the logo has a diffren blue / orange background gadient.

- The round corners are a bit big, try using smaller curves or maybe square corners.

- The dotted orange line under a link gives me the wierd impression that you made a typo :pp It's a bit to similar to the well known red wavey line found in word etc.

- The hover of the text area in the contact form is a bit scary, turns red like i'm doing something wrong. it could with hold people from filling it in.

- The lack of unique features gives it a bit of a dull look.

- You have some serious coding skills, dont let coding get in conflict with the design though. Some times it seems like you put certains things on your website to show them off.

Well thats it :pp hope i didnt scare you :pp. It's a solid website, just need a lot of tweeking :)

There is a lot going on the home page and general pages. The links are conventional on the left but people may not know to open the text on the other pages.

currently, you are rerdirecting it to your cgi bin directory.......you shoudn't be doing that...

secondly, menu bar on left hand side need some more attraction and good use of graphics or nice rollover effecr...if needed use css there...

header need some slogan which should give an overview of services....

overall nice use of ajax extensions and good programming technique...
