June 23, 200818 yr hi all im new here and to webdesign im primarily a photographer and want to set up my own website to display my photos and offer my services and sell prints. i found this forum on a google search on web design forum, im looking for help and advice as im a complete newbie to web design i have adobe creative suite cs3 on my laptop i want to get fireworks is this a good program to use? thanks lawless

June 24, 200818 yr Hi lawless, welcome to WDF! Two great sites for getting to grips with html, css et al are htmldog and w3schools You can always post here for help too As for using Fireworks for your graphics, absolutely fine. A useful site for Fireworks users is here Good luck!
June 24, 200818 yr heloo and welcome. fireworks is just fine but i'm a photoshop fan and there are a lot of tutorials about stuff you can do with photoshop around the web. looking forward to see your design
June 24, 200818 yr Might be wise to invest on a freelancer for the Website if you want a professional end product! It will take a while to learn to that of a good level, but yes I'm not going to lie it is the cheaper option! On the other note, I personally prefer Photoshop to Fireworks.
