hi all

 

im new here and to webdesign im primarily a photographer and want to set up my own website to display my photos and offer my services and sell prints. i found this forum on a google search on web design forum, im looking for help and advice as im a complete newbie to web design i have adobe creative suite cs3 on my laptop i want to get fireworks is this a good program to use?

Two great sites for getting to grips with html, css et al are htmldog and w3schools

You can always post here for help too :)

As for using Fireworks for your graphics, absolutely fine.

heloo and welcome. fireworks is just fine but i'm a photoshop fan ^_^ and there are a lot of tutorials about stuff you can do with photoshop around the web. looking forward to see your design :D

Might be wise to invest on a freelancer for the Website if you want a professional end product! It will take a while to learn to that of a good level, but yes I'm not going to lie it is the cheaper option!

 

On the other note, I personally prefer Photoshop to Fireworks.
