April 28, 201412 yr Are you going to market yourself as a freelancer or as a studio / company? I use my name now - Teodora, but there were two of us before and the business had "Creative" in its name. Edit: What's the reason you need the name so fast - maybe it's best to wait a bit, you might get a great idea Edited April 28, 201412 yr by teodora
April 28, 201412 yr Author It's a long history, is just for the domain, it's important to be done today, I could use my name but I don't really know if someone will join be or I'll joing someone...Thank you by the way
April 28, 201412 yr Choose a name that speaks to who you are as a person / business and the unique value that you offer. Ensure this name will resonate with the customer you are targeting.
April 28, 201412 yr There's no harm in using your own name and still working with other's in future as the boss. Many of the big brands and companies have humble beginnings as one person's name – Adidas, Yves Saint Laurent, Ford. To be safe, you could pick a studio name and affix "webdesign" or "webdevelopment" or "digital" or whatever, and just state on the website that it's the creative practice or yourself for now. For example, "Mr Digital is the creative practice of Mr Danny, a web designer and developer from Portugal…"
May 7, 201412 yr It depends - for freelancer I would use your name and surname - for example :JohnDoe.com - lots of graphic designers from my country ( Poland ) do like that . If you will be doing webdesign with team I would use : ABCDesigns.com or something like that .
June 6, 201412 yr It's a little late I guess but I still wanted to share my idea. You can use something like desdev or devdis
