I'm new here :) . I have been doing freelance design for a while, mostly customization of eCommerce scripts (ZenCart), Wordpress blogs, forums and galleries with a few installs/customizations of Joomla. I recently went to work for a company doing this full time and am in charge of developing several sites within their business plan.

I started using Photoshop about 5 years ago and honed my skills by designing digital scrapbooking products. That also put me into the niche I was in as far as the freelance work. I taught myself how to customize those scripts and from there learned more and more about design and development in general. Since I started my job, though, I've learned alot more about taking a site from mockup to html. I do admit to using tables quite frequently because of the nature of the sites I do, but I am trying to learn as much about using CSS as I can and hope to move more and more towards that on the new sites I develop.

Okay, is that the longest intro ever?? Thanks for setting up a nice place to meet other designers and share ideas and info.

You intro wasn't to long. I have a very short attention span and i read it all :pp
