Need A Website

Featured Replies

Hi Web Designers,

I am starting a new Events Planning business in January, to start i have a budget of £10 - £15 per month for a Template Website, i have been looking at various ones including Photium, could you please recommend a suitable template site, alternatively what would the cost be for the following options:

1. Complete website designed from scratch and then i could add and update myself to reduce costs.

2. Template website that can be tweaked by a design pro.

Your advice and assistance is greatly appreciated.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Your cheapest (in terms of money) option is learn to build a site yourself using something like WordPress. WP comes with a lot of free themes which you can customise, depending on your competency. You will have to set aside a budget for domain name costs and hosting renewals, but not a great deal.

If you are looking for a "design pro" to make changes to your site ongoing though, you are probably going to have to be realistic and up your budget going forwards.

Template Monster website best for buy ready made website template. But after you will modification on this your self as a article and images. if you will go from sinelogix the will help you chip price.

Most import question here is, what is the site for? What industry are you operating in, what is the business?

What type of events? What is the target clientele?

This is all important to figure out how the site needs to look. If you are doing private events in London then you need to invest huge amounts of cash into the site, however if you are planning events for childrens birthdays in Bradford then the design of the site isn't going to be as significant (see what I'm saying?).

Completely agree.

This is actually an area we operate in both for design and SEO, in many events niches a throwaway template isn't going to cut the mustard.

If it's a worthwhile business it's worthy of investment in doing it right. Simple as that.
