August 26, 201313 yr Hello, not a big issue, but jquery masonry just seems slow at ordering the images. It loads a long line and then a couple of seconds later orders them correctly. Any reason for this or just the way it goes? Link: www.buildsanctuary.com
August 26, 201313 yr The images you're calling are probably the cause. 1. The images are all being called from remote servers - calling several images will incur delays as they are downloaded 2. Some of the images are huge in size and dimension - eg http://modifiedcaraddicts.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/AE86_stanced-car.png is over 1mb im size The solution is to grab the originals, create resized copies and serve from your own domain
August 26, 201313 yr Author Ah that is true, the data will eventually be user contributed so ill have to control over the images. I think once the images are cached its not such a big issue. Shall leave it for now but thanks for the explanation
