Website not ranking at all on google

Featured Replies

Hey guys Just made a website, I know SEO takes time and I am a complete novice but I have just made a website - connorbr.com and uploaded it to google search however even if I type "connorbr.com" into google it doesn't even appear?

I have googled several times 'how to get to the top of google' etc and followed the tips such as title tags, meta keywords etc etc but still my website is impossible to find.

Do you think that it could be the fact it was only submitted 2 weeks ago or have I done something wrong?

Any help will be great thanks, really want to understand why its not doing so well, cheers.

Ooh okay cheers thats strange as when i typed it in i was getting the website connorpr as the first search which was slightly worrying aha you wouldnt happen to know if i have used my title tags etc correctly would you as im slightly worried they arent correct but as i said im a complete novice so the only knowledge i have is from google aha :L

It's a bit concerning that you're offering SEO services on your website but asking on here if you have used your title tags etc correctly....also could do with proof reading your site content for errors.

Well I see what you mean however was slightly concerned as to why I wasn't being a top rated search as I have done everything correct however it doesn't matter I didn't make the post to be shot down lol

I'm not trying to shoot you down so sincere apologies if that's the way it came across. I'm just concerned that you may end up struggling to cope with clients expectations if you're offering SEO services whilst you know very little about it and in my experience that makes life stressful and the whole idea of freelancing is to do something you love right?

As I said, I am in no way trying to shoot you down but just trying to offer helpful advice.

Is this site 100% new? if so even by typing in the exact url it may not appear. It can take up to as little as a few weeks to get indexed or as long as 3 months it all depends. As for using meta keywords a person who works at google clearly states google no longer even looks at this tag. I suggest you use google web master tools this will give you all types of index data on your website even tell you if your html needs improvment which can hinder ranking also.

As I said, it's indexed. Just use site:domain.com

If you submit a site map through webmaster tools and tweet about it you'll get it indexed within a few hours to a day. If its Wordpress look at what services you ping. Some can do it in just a few seconds

Ok ill rephrase what i said then and put it a tad more bluntly :) I see people day in and day out complain because they just uploaded a site and in your case a site with a mere 4 pages and i will say this again if your site is brand new it takes abit to show up when you just type your domain in. And when i said index i really just ment it takes a good while to get indexed well as in the way people would want. As a suggestion maybe have a blog on your site this could speed up the process by constently adding new content. If you just keep those 4 pages as is your site is not going to be ranked much better then it is right now. You may wanna try setting up a sitemap as well and submitting that to google. Best of luck to you :)

May be ....

What is the domain age? Are you trying to ranked too early? Are you doing some Black-hat practice.

Many factors are there. May be your website is under review & sooner or later you will get the result.

Consult with a Expert & do the needful.
