This video is around 2 years old. My 2 pennies worth is keyword based domains do and as far as I can see will continue to carry weight

Exact match domains were weighted down last year. But they are still are powerful - just not powerful in isolation without a lot of natural optimisation

Maybe its just me, but sometimes I think Google say things because that's what they want you to believe and in fact its not always true.

Earlier, so many internet marketers owned some keyword rich domains to get top positions and its a bit easy to rank than other generic domain. But, now things have changed and having a keyword domain is more risky than ever.
