Hi there people,

 

I have just transfered a website that is built with "Expression Engine" and for some reason the theme has been lost when I restored it to the new location.

 

I have checked the most obvious things like path locations etc and all appears fine, is there anything special I need to do when transfering a website built with Expression Engine?

Normally templates are stored in the database so they should automatically appear in the Template manager. However check in /system/expressionengine/templates to see if you're using static templates. If the folder has template files in it you need to re-syncronise (see http://expressionengine.com/user_guide/cp/design/templates/synchronize_templates.html ).
