travel agent website

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone can help. I am looking at booking some tickets to go abroad and came across 2 websites that are almost identical in functionality. Out of curiosity does anyone know what engine these websites run on....as in it looks as though the information that the 2 websites provide are coming through another site.

Does anyone know where these sites link to?

www.citybond.co.uk

www.benztravel.co.uk

Many thanks,

Michael

Are you sure it isn't the other two are affiliates of ASDA Travel? And have such just copied there design and content?

Perhaps........

Hi,

I am pretty certain that they all link back to one company. When you seach for airports, they all seem to have the same list, when you search for flights, the layout is more or less the same. It does look like there is a back-end company that is providing them with the information.

Thanks.

Thats what I am saying maybe ASDA Travel is the main company. They offer an affiliate scheme. That means that the other two will be selling what ASDA are selling.

try googling "travel agent website software" or similar. Plenty out there.

Fair enough, zed has probably hit the proverbial nail on the head there.
