IE8 and a float left inside a float right

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

I've got a site that's got a small problem in IE8...

If you go to examninja.co.uk and check out the credit card images in the top right you'll see that in IE8 the float left div called #header_image does not display correctly within the float right parent div. It refuses to share the same line.

As per usual it's fine in FF/Safari etc etc

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this IE8 displaty issue?

Thanks!

I would start by validating the html

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.examninja.co.uk%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

68 errors 177 warnings, but it does show a few of the below errors

error.pngLine 715, Column 6: end tag for element "div" which is not open

</div>

there are a few of these erros
