Is it possible to change my user name here or should I just set up a new account and delete this one. Anyone done this before?

All we can do as mods is forward the request to the admin.

As for a time frame, i've no idea how long and i'm pretty sure there are still people waiting that we put requests in for months and months ago.

 

If you want the honest answer, i'd say starting a fresh account would be a lot quicker and easier.
