May 11, 201214 yr Hi, if you know graphics, what do you normally do if you want a series of images to illustrate something? They need to be done fast so one picture shouldn't take too much time to produce (maybe under 15 minutes). They don't need to look like masterpieces but they can't be colorless stick figures without a background. What do you do when you need something like this?
May 11, 201214 yr I'd charge triple because of the time scale. Then how i'd make them would really depend on the style. I'm enjoying hand drawing, then scanning in and live tracing with effects at the moment.
May 13, 201214 yr Author The style isn't really as important as being able to do it quickly. What method would deliver the most in such a short time? Most as in the quality of work, colors, shading, and being generally pleasing to look at, really... Is it asking too much for anything more than stick figures? Preparation beforehand is possible: I think it's possible to make general drawings of characters, scenes and reuse them but I don't work in graphics so I don't know how effective and time saving this would be. Would be great if you or someone knew what's an industry standard for churning out pictures where speed is important.
