I recently went on to a website looking for the owner, it told me the name and then gave me the option to look at all other domains owned by him. I cannot find this website anymore. Does anyone know how I can find out the domains he owns?

 

The person concerned has over 100 domains and many of them appear to be company names that he has registered, so I think he is a professional Cyber-squatter.

Also, as a part-time domainer who owns ~200 domains, I must stress that there is a clear difference between a domainer and a cyber-squatter . Simply owning a lot of domains isn't a bad thing - it makes you a domainer. Although if you register domains in bad faith (etc), you could be classed as a cyber-squatter.

I agree with Tristan, just because someone owns a lot of domains doesn't mean they are a cybersquatter. If he owns a company that designs and maintains sites and registers them in his name as he gets a better deal on mass domain registration (which can happen) then of course he will have a lot of domians.

 

 

As I said in the other thread you posted about this, you should check the contract that you have with him to see what it says about domain ownership. If there is nothing in the contract about it then you might have a lot of trouble with it, but the best thing to do is to go talk to a solicitor and see if there is a way to get it turned over to you.

Thanks, he does have some other domains that he has registered, and I have spoken to 2 companies that the domain names relate to. He is not doing anything for them in terms of web-design etc, and it looks as though he has registered their names just so that anyone looking for their company on the web-site is diverted to his website.

 

He has not approached them for money though.

I did find one that didn't charge, but I cannot find it again.

honestly, i wouldn't worry about him and his cyber-squatting unless it directly affects you. Meaning if he's taking your domain away then you have an issue but if he bought Oxford.com or something that's for a company called Oxford to deal with. IMHO.

you can use this tool http://www.whoisxy.com/ .Here i found the reverse ip lookup tool.Through this you will get the number of domains hosted on an ip.Not only this , it also has the ping test, domain to ip, whois search etc.,
