Wordpress Membership Plugin

Featured Replies

I'm having some difficulty getting support from the team from WP Member (despite having paid extra for a support subscription when I purchased the plugin). Considering the issues I'm having with it, I'm abandoning the plugin and beginning the hunt for something else.

I need:

- The ability to create two membership levels

- The ability to restrict different pages, categories and posts to those two membership groups

Any thoughts? I'm now a week behind on this project (thanks a lot WP Member), so any advice on good, solid plugins would be very much appreciated.

Cheers,

Chris

Chris, give Paid Memberships Pro, which is available in the WordPress repository a try.

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/

You can have multiple levels and can choose categories to restrict for each and can restrict individual pages one by one. The plugin is completely open source, 100% GPL, and will always be free. (The "Paid" in the title means that YOU get paid. ;) I think you'll find that it compares very favorably to the paid plugins out there.

I am the developer of the plugin. This is my first post in these forums. A Google alert I setup brought me here.

I'll have a look at that. Thanks for the heads-up, and welcome to the forum.

Thanks everyone.

I've purchased the plugin that Chris recommended. Apologies Jason, I only just saw your post, but I'm going to look into your plugin for another site I've got coming up.

Cheers again,

Chris

No problem. Wish I could have gotten to you sooner (the Google alert is a little slow). But now this forum is on my radar.

Let us know how things turn out with the WPMU plugin.

But now this forum is on my radar.
