PHP File Upload

Featured Replies

I'm looking to add a file upload to the website I'm doing for my wedding so attendee's can send us their pictures of the day.

Preferably a system that uploads the image to a folder on the web-space.

One's I have tried via tutorials etc. haven't worked so I'm hoping you guys can help! :)

So no-one can help? :(

What d'you mean by "haven't worked"?

"I've tried to implement an uploader like (link) but I'm getting (this error)" is a reasonable question.

"Write a PHP uploader for me for free" isn't.

I didn't say i wanted someone to write me the uploader for free, im asking for guidance/advice.

The one i have been trying is:

http://www.w3schools.com/php/php_file_upload.asp

Having followed the guide, the file just doesn't upload to the directory

There are two methods to upload your files to your hosting server.

1.using File Transfer Protocol(FTP).This method is faster but needs little bit technical skills.

2.using File Manager utility provided by the web hosting company. This method is easier but time-consuming.The utility is generally placed under the Control Panel of your account and so you need to login first.

um hes looking for a php file upload written in php, not the file upload thats already on his hosting account.
