April 23, 200818 yr Hi everyone, I just happened to find this forum yesterday and am very very glad that I did. It's packed full with useful stuff, and I have already had helpful responses to my first post for help - thanks again to all. Just a quick bit about myself: I stumbled into the world of web design and coding from a completell different background. I'm pleased to have found something that I love to do and can make a living from. I am working hard to try and devlop my skills; I've picked up stuff from colleagues, "A List Apart" http://alistapart.com/ and various books by Dan Cederholm and the like. I currently work as a "web co-ordinator" in a company that is sadly loathe to utilise or acknowledge my efforts trying to build valid, accessible sites with clean XHTML/CSS. They prefer the "use WYSIWYG and let everyone pitch in" approach. So my plan is to bump up my skills as much as I can and move on to someplace where I can hopefully grow my skills and confidence.
