Just working on a few things in photoshop and i've been trying to get a white box to stay like bright white, yet still be transparent. I've messed on with the opacity and fill but that just makes it fade away and the colour changes. I've seen it done on Dribbble before but i can't find an example at the moment, anyone know how to achieve this?

It'll show whatever colour is behind it, the only way to keep a semi-opaque layer looking like the solid colour is to have the same solid colour behind it.
