September 1, 201114 yr Best way I learnt it was by reading tutorials, books and other peoples code. If your trying to do something but not sure how or running into obstacles - try browsing the web until you find someone who has done it (or similar) and look at their code to see how they did it. That is fine as long as you don't copy and paste it. Looking for tutorials via google is always a good way to. Seeing how others have applied it will help you think more logically about where you could use.

September 2, 201114 yr You can read the whole Missing Manual book and afterwards try doing some CSS. You'll of forgotten it all. You should learn the basics and then create things, anythings, doesn't matter what. Only when you stumble do you really learn how to get back up. Goodluck, ~evu.

September 8, 201114 yr Author i have been given a template that has a few css files attached, so im thinking to open it dreamweaver and study the code to see how and why its applied... i have css knowledge i just need to get design knowledge.
